This is the best commercial I have ever seen. I may drive to North Carolina just to buy something from this store.
It's not fake, check out the Redhouse website.

Denim Impossible
I went jean shopping again today. (you can read about my last jean shopping experience here)
I thought it would be really easy this time since I had synthesized the correct jean formula last time out, but i forgot about two critical components: brand and size. Unfortunately during this season, most stores are stocking up on shorts so the jean selection is a bit thin. The jean identification key that I had formulated only works with one particular brand and there were only a few pairs of that label available... and none of them were in my size. So I had to start from scratch with a new brand. Trying the clothes on in the fitting room became an even bigger chore when Evan and Aaron started play-cagefighting in the cubicle we were in (Aaron has some MMA potential). Thankfully, Becky was able to take the boys, but I ultimately left the store emptyhanded.
Just when I think I've got clothes shopping all figured out...

do i ever feel old
At some point between 7pm and 8pm on Tuesday, October 7th I turned into an old man.

I've been needing new jeans and we made the time tonite to go shopping as a family after dinner. We drove down to Kohl's and while Becky took Aaron and Ashlyn on her own, Evan and I went to the jeans section. I have never been so overwhelmed and confused while shopping in my life. Low Rise, Boot Cut, Relaxed, Straight, Loose, Slim, Skinny, Original, Carpenter, and infinite combinations of these cuts (not to mention the colors, fades, and brands). Seriously, what is the difference between relaxed fit, loose fit, and straight fit? I knew for sure that I was too old for rockin skinny jeans and too young for the standard fit. After trying on 4 different pairs I ended up with a relaxed hip + low rise + straight leg... and an identity crisis. When did jean shopping get so complicated?
